Welcome to Living Waters Tabernacle
This evangelistic work had its beginning in the mid 1930's by our past pastor, D. E. Hill, who had been called from the western Missouri farm fields into the ministry. Pastor Hill started a small meeting in the town of Weston, Missouri and later was inspired to relocate to Denver, Colorado, where in 1938 he founded the Living Waters Tabernacle meeting. Living Waters is uniquely different from most of what the world today calls a "church" in that there is no formal membership or affiliation to any organized denomination. There is nothing one can join. Living Waters Tabernacle is simply a group of people that have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as the Savior and have been thereby "added" to the one true "church", the mystical body of Christ, a living organism (not an organization), that had its beginning approximately 2000 years ago as described in the book of Acts. The buildings in which this group meets were built without any solicitations or pledges for funds, but solely by the freewill offerings of common men and women who wanted to be co-laborers with God in giving out the gospel of Christ (Rom 1:16), which is by grace. Our goals in establishing this web site are to aid the lost to find Christ, to then help the born again, Christian pilgrim, to "grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ" -- being established in the Bible doctrines as given to us by the apostle Paul and then to grow up, the mature saint, in the very likeness and stature of Christ Himself. The highest goal of all is to qualify to be in that bridal company that will win Jesus Christ as "Bridegroom".
